Boots

Conveniently placed in the centre of Cardiff Bay Retail Park is this medium sized Boots store that plays the role of local pharmacy/​chemists to the Cardiff Bay/​Grangetown area if the locals are feeling too sleepy eyed to trundle into town. And, being in the retail park, it’s also handily located for a family doing their big weekly shop, as everything you could possibly need is located next door to each other.
Being only a mid-​sized store, this Boots doesn’t have a lot of variety. It has a lot more variety than what I, being a bloke, require, but for the purposes of the Lady, she is often left annoyed at a product that has been sold out or just not stocked. Instead, the best thing about this Boots and the major selling point of the store is its location. Being planted a few doors down from ASDA, any customers have the power to mix-​and-​match their shopping trips. On some products, ASDA are going to have them in stock and may offer better deals on them. On others, it may be Boots that offers the better bang for your buck. It pays to take a peep in both before making your choice.

Once upon a time I used to beg my mother to take me out to this Boots because it’s big and brash and has all sorts of lovely tings that a teenage girl might want to get her hands. Now, in this age of giant stores everywhere, it’s slightly lost its uniqueness, but it’s still a good Boots with a large range.

This isn’t the biggest Boots in the world so you won’t find lots of extended ranges in this shop but it certainly helps me out in terms of convenience.
I live in the Bay and don’t also want to traipse into town to pick up essential bits and pieces or get some photo’s printed.
This shop has everything I need from a boots; its got a good lunch selection, a good sized pharmacy and photograph centre where I can still get my old films sent off to be developed.
Its quiet, there’s always someone around to help you and its stress free shopping. What more could you want?
