Cafe Lazio

This little Italian restaurant has recently been renamed Café Lazio having formerly been known as Latina. As great as it is to have an Italian eatery in Radyr, this place never quite satisfies me. I can’t quite put my finger on why.
When it first opened in Radyr in 2007 it was always full and vibrant. I can’t help feeling that the place is now struggling, especially given the recent name change.
The food has never disappointed here but the last few times I have visited the service has been sadly lacking and the place has been near empty so there hasn’t been much of an atmosphere. The ingredients have always been fresh, the menu big enough to satisfy but not too big as to intimidate and the wine is always tasty. The specials board is worth a try too.
Still a nice place to eat, especially if you can see a few people already there!
