From the outside you’re never quite ure what to expect when walking into Clonc. For the lngest of times I dind’t ever realise that it was a café, insted I thought that it was one of those gadget shop places(this was the impression I got from the name alone, obviously I never went so far as to look in through the window…) But in actually, this isn’t just your standard daytime café, it’s also a tapas bar, which is certainly a bit of a pleasant surprise! The food they serve is decently priced and astey, although nothing above and beyond what you might find elsewhere. But just the fact that there is tapas on Cowbridge Road is exciting enough in and of itself, if you ask me. The one thing that they do fal down on, however, is their coffee. The times I’ve been inside their milk has been screaming down the house and there have been grinds at the bottom of the cup. Not my favovourite, but then I am a litt, e bit of a coffee snop. Perhaps just stick to tea and soft drinks.
