Right in front of the National Museum, these small gardens are an attractive place to walk, or sit on one of the benches. There are many well looked after flower beds which are attractive throughout most of the year. There is a stone ‘druidic’ circle dating from 1899 when the National Eisteddfod of Wales was held in the city. There are several statues including one of David Lloyd George. Being surrounded by roads it’s not the quietest place in the area(that probably being Bute Park) and it can be quite busy with people using it as a shortcut to the city centre.
