King Wok Chinese Takeaway

This is one of those little places that locals know and use, but which tend sto turn people off with its magnolia waiting room. But there is so, so much more to King Wok.
Their food is very tasty considering the exceptionally cheap pricing, and the portions are huge. I personally recommend their chips and curry sauce, this has been a favourite for years! You can get a massive range of chip-​shop food and Chinese, and I find myself (occasionally drunkenly) staring at their sign for a long time just choosing.
Okay, just in case you’ve never been to a place like this before: this is not fine cuisine. It’s greasy and full of sugar. It’s everything all those TV programmes have been warning you against. BUT, man, it’s tasty.
