Situated along the main stretch through Grangetown, this takeaway pizza jaunt offers cheap, and quite frankly nasty food. Ok, so that might be a little too synical, but the quality of the pizza is definitely below par when held in comparison to pretty much any other takeaway or supermarket version. It’s too greasy for my taste, as well as the pizza being topped with low quality ingredients which certainly don’t taste particularly fresh. It really didn’t make for a very satisfying experience, disappointing despite not having to fork out too much of a fee. There’s also a selection of chicken, chips and other low quality and unhealthy takeaway food. It’s not the most hospitable place either, with the shop floor and walls a little tatty and seemingly unhygienic. I really would only resort to eating here again if my life depended on it, so Pizza Chick fails too score high.

I like a cheap and easy pizza every now and again, don’t get me wrong but there’s something distinctly lackluster about pizza chick. A margherita pizza here is a doughy base, slightly bland tomato sauce and very plasticky cheese on the top. Not one I’ll be visiting again in a hurry.
