The Yankee Store is a very pleasant shop… I have nothing negative to say about it. The owner is lovely, the immense stock is impressively displayed, and it’s airy and light, making for a really entirely enjoyable shopping experience…
But… did you know that Busy Bee down the road is an entirely home-grown candle business? In contrast, this is an independent shop run by a Cardiff born Civil Engineer, that gave up his profession to invest his time in retailing the beautiful scented candles that he buys from a Cardiff based candle manufacturer, that use a unique wax, derived from the soy bean.
Yes, The Yankee Store supply a very fine range of seemingly inexhaustible candles… but… please don’t forget about Busy Bee down the road!
