More often than not, if you aren’t aware of a trace show, you’ll still come across the trace they leave behind. Their work is predominantly time-​based and trace: exists in order to promote time based art and work emerging from performance, installation, sonic & interactive arts.
They do this by :
* Producing regular events and exhibition
* Inviting artists to produce time based work that has an installation exhibition component
* Promoting work at a local, national and international level
* Working with artists and arts agencies to promote work at these levels
* Publishing research that arises form our activities [catalogues, books, videos, CD’s]
* Creating an environment for the discourse and dissemination of time based art
* Maintaining an independent artist lead initiative
