Having only recently opened, the West Coast grill has replaced the Old Orleans restaurant which occupied this venue before its closure. However, rather than providing a different kind of restaurant experience, the menu bares an uncanny resemblance to it’s pre-deccesors, failing to provide something more original. Selling stereotypical American food, the uninspiring selection of grilled meats and burgers are unsurprisingly accompanied by chips and a rather dull looking salad. In truth, it’s pretty soulless in here, although I suppose it may be able to develop some more character in time. However, its intentions to provide a family friendly, fun and vibrant atmosphere are yet to be fulfilled. I’d imagine a group of friends could have a decent meal here before going off into town, but I have no idea why anyone would choose to go out of their way to come here.
