Command House is great in the summer because of the large seating area outside, much bigger than any of the seats inside. They also tend to put on gigs, so you can unleash your inner hippy and chill out on the benches or the grass with your overpriced pint of beer, which I think is a problem for Command House. Their prices are a bit higher than other pubs’ in the area, which is annoying because it’s not very upper class. They also have karaōke nights and play music videos on a TV screen inside. There seems to be a minor problem with chavs there sometimes but in general it’s a peaceful/lively place to go to depending on the time of the day.
