Prithvi

This is a high-​end contemporary Indian restaurant. I experienced the London restaurant in NYC a few years ago, and it reminded me of the caliber of service we experienced at Prithvi. Although the price was high, you get what you pay for; top notch service and delicious contemporary Indian cuisine. Perfect venue for an important date or special occasion.
I was visiting good friends in Cheltenham and they took me here on my first night to celebrate. We did the tasting menu with a bottle of wine. It was course-​after-​course of exquisite contemporary Indian dishes. The portions are enough to satisfy and the final course was a grilled type of salmon that melted into my mouth.
I explained to the host upon arrival that I didn’t eat red meat, pork or chicken and they customized my tasting menu to fit my specific request — pescatarian. Overall great service, elegant atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff and superb cuisine.
