Costco Chester

Costco is one of the few things that has moved from the USA to the UK with little to no changes. A membership only cash and carry superstore with an ever changing selection of products in ever category from clothes makeup and medicine to food and drinks.
The highlights to costco are the little sample people dotted around the warehouse giving away and trying to get you to buy their new favourite product of the day. or the £1.50 hotdog and drink at the end of your trip.
Don’t be fooled some of their products are great value some are not. keep a eye on promotions. Also don’t visit if your in a rush as the queues can be massive.

Absolutely fantastic place, quality of the stuff here is 1^st class, excellent for having your photos developed just drop them off and just collect at the pick up point no queues, you can have your eyes tested advice to book an appointment there are appointments available some days when you go in but not always. Go early and get a cupo of lovely coffee from the friendly lady just as you walk in and normally she has a little freebie of cake or biscuit for you to sample, if you are there about lunch time there are lots of tables dotted about letting you try samples of items Costco sell what a wonderful idea. I have many of time gone to buy something and thought oh dont know if i will like it but after tasting you can decide wether to purchase it or not. Was in the other day and they were giving tasters of bread crumbed fish it was so white and fluffy the fish i purchased a box and the family all like it, so it will be on the shopping list when next visiting costco, so go round and give the sampes a try and decide for yourself there has been other times i have thought oh dont like that and decided it wasnt for me!

This is a membership only (around £30) shopping warehouse.
It has everything from electrical and household goods to spectacles and photo processing.
The bakery section has some fantastic muffins and you can order a large personalised cake for around £11.
Other departments include butchery, cameras, catering and cleaning, confectionary, delicatessen, furniture, garden, grocery, hardware, health and beauty, books and toys and fresh produce.
Once you have finished shopping you can sit instore and enjoy the pizza or jacket potatoes which are reasonably priced.

Huge car park, so never stuck for a place. Inside is brilliant, you can get everything you want in bulk. Not always cheap though sometimes you think you are paying a good price when you are not. Most of the electricas are the same price in general shops. Helpful and friendly staff and the food you can get is brill, huge pieces of pizza and huge hotdogs!
