I just had an awesome 2 course lunch here for £10. I walked past so many times I’ll definitely be back. I’m a bit of a coffee snob and I’d go as far as to say they do one of the best flat whites in Chiswick.

My first experience with Côte Brasserie was at Windsor and it was amazing. especially the crème brûlée. The next visit was at the Chiswick outlet; a chance breakfast on a lazy Sunday. I had the cooked vegetarian breakfast with a mug of Café Noisette. For me, it was very refreshing, healthy and yummy. Healthy — the avocado, refreshing — the coffee and yummy — the veg sausage. The poached eggs that came along were cooked to perfection — an art I wish to learn. Service — friendly and cheerful. We sat by the window, and although the view is not great, it felt reflective. So much so, we stayed back for a few more mugs of café. A restaurant that can give a good start to a day, is a good restaurant.

Enjoyed lunch with a friend here on Friday — the set lunch menu during the week is quite good value though it’s gone up in price recently. Delicious starter of smoked salmon and poached egg with good hollandaise sauce. Very busy but we usually manage to get a table without a wait. Consistent quality so you can be fairly confident whichever branch you go to.

Excellent quality for the price a very good value! The bread, butter and olives were all simple and great at the same time. If you are in the area come in before 7pm for a prix fix menu! The cold pea and mint soup was subtle w a perfect balance!

For the chain resistant, this is probably not for you. If you fancy a quick meal and want to play it safe, it’s a good place to go for brunch, lunch or dinner, but Cote is nothing special and once you’ve visited one, you’ve done them all. Great for English breakfast at the weekend or an early dinner special deal. Staff is very friendly and attentive, and the food is of good quality.

Salt, salt and more salt. This was disappointing. If the food wasn’t over-salted then it was swimming in some creamy yellowish sauce. We all ordered different dishes and it came with all three. In fact, it ruined the classic dish of cod, spinach and crushed potatoes. The sauce was literally a pool at the bottom of the plate. Yuk. Service was slow and when we complained about having to wait nearly half an hour before even getting a menu, the member of staff was hurt complaining about us as she walked away. They were short staffed on the floor but there were three people cleaning glasses!?!

Great french food at decent prices(lunch specials are a steal) Nice ambiance– a little loud on a friday, but would be a great date place for a week-night dinner date. The only criticism I have is that the staff constantly try to upsell you on wine, bread, olives, side-dishes(this a pet peeve of mine so they lose one star for it.)

I highly recommend Cote. Great atmosphere and delicious food. The duck rillette was rich and well prepared. For my entrée I had a tart with ratatouille, goat cheese, olives and basil. The portion was perfect. It was delicious. My companion had the lamb shank with some of the tastiest mashed potatoes I have ever encountered. For dessert, I highly recommend the crème caramel. The texture was amazing. We polished off a bottle of wine with dinner and had calvados with dessert and our bill was very reasonable. This place is a gem.

Really really good French restaurant. I have been to the one in Richmond as well and was impressed both times. Chiswick’s cote is always busy — in a good way, and the service is top notch. You can have a romantic evening with a loved one or have a dinner with friends before going off to a pub nearby. It is a very versatile place the and the food tempts everyone. Definitely one to go to — find one near you if chiswick isn’t close!

All hail!!! Chiswick has a new king. This is new to Turnham Green but is rammed every time i have been there or walked past. Amazing food, great selection on the menu so you can go week in, week out and never have the same dish twice. Great for anniversaries with your partner or a Sunday brunch with friends and family. I cannot recommend this place enough

Ah, food here… is seriously lovely. Four of us tried different starters, mains and deserts, and we were all more than happy. I had the steak tartar, the steak fritter and the iced berries with melted white chocolate sauce. Prices are reasonable for the quality and amount you get: £32 a head for our three course. We tried this placed based on recommendation from friends, and the reputation is well deserved.

A friend who’s quarter French by birth and an inveterate meat lover by nature declared this to be her favourite restaurant in London at the time I met up with her… Considering she’s quite the foodie(albeit a mildly fussy one, seeing as she passionately hates veggies), I thought that to be a pretty high bar set for the restaurant in terms of expectations. Once we got there, the bf and I really let ourselves go a tad bit and decided to explore unfamiliar looking dishes on the menu. I’m yet a French-food newbie, apart from the standard fare one may find in regular, not-so-posh brasseries in Paris… For starters, all four of us went for the Rillettes(Coarsely shredded duck and pork paté with toasted sourdough bread, shallots and cornichons)…the serving size on a wooden tray was so generous that I’d call it closer to a mains than a starter really. The home-made duck and pork pâté, sealed with a layer of fat, was served in a jar, nice and salty, complementing the fresh bread very well. The coarse texture of the pâté seemed to give it more volume too. For mains, I had Duck Confit(Duck leg confit with sautéed Savoy cabbage and bacon lardons with a thyme and veal jus) as did another person(yes, we had a duck-heavy meal, the two of us) — both of us went for the medium rare and I was happy with how it turned out. The duck was juicy and most flavoursome. I’d recommend a hearty appetite for this dish… Others on the table ordered Fish Parmentier and a rare Sirloin steak with Rocquefort butter. The portion sizes were substantial and yet the food was brilliant enough for us to keep tucking in, at the risk of seeming greedy. A bottle of the Lagarde Rouge 2009 was also ordered to top off all the culinary festivity on the table and come dessert time, the bf and I were struggling to split a Chocolate Mousse between the two of us. The bill came to a modest 33quid/person(service included) which I thought was fairly reasonable for a 3-course French meal of hearty proportions, with wine to accompany. And might I add, the service during the meal was great, thankfully not reminiscent of the snooty Parisian style service…
