I love this place and frequent it often it’s the best Phở I can find in London, and much better than the Westfield branch under the same name. Staff are great very friendly and attentive, the restaurant is beautiful and the PHO well its delicious. I tend to go for the Hanoi style Phở so flash fried steak and garlic included. This is my favourite restaurant on the high street. I haven’t tried anything on the menu other than the Phở, as that is what I’m always craving. I have also had the carrot, apple and ginger fresh juice and that was very nice.

When you walk in you are serviced right away. The choices of Phở have plenty of spice and contain decent amount of herbs and now has a fresh aromatic taste. The service is excellent, attentive and friendly and for a Phở shop in England it is good enough. The price is perfect. My fault lies in the sticky feeling of being at the table and it’s too dark.

Went there with my bf and had really good phở ga. Atmosphere was good and staff were friendly. I would have gave five stars if staff were a little more attentive but other than that I got the vietnamese food I wanted. I will definitely go back when in town.

Good food. Good ambience. Great service, and at a reasonable price. What more do you want? The portions are not very big so if you’re hungry you should probably have a starter. But then again Phở is a noodle soup… so nothing in the name screams ‘big meal’ anyway. A regular stop for me when I’m hungry(ish) and want to fool myself into thinking I eat healthily.

We had a great experience at Phở today. The service was excellent and the food exceeded our expectations. We had planned to have just a single course. But we ended up sharing pork spring rolls(which tasted so much better than the greasy spring rolls you get elsewhere), and each having a main course and dessert. We cannot vouch for the authenticity of the food, but it tasted fantastic. The staff gave us a warm welcome and were attentive throughout, ensuring that we were well informed about the menu and providing helpful suggestions(one of the reasons we ended up ordering more than we planned!) The total bill came to £50 including drinks(plus tip). Great value. Ok, two of the four people at the table were children eating from the kids menu, but they ate heartily and the food was pronounced delicious despite them not being known for their adventurous palates. It was wonderful to have options for kids beyond pizza and burgers — and healthier choices too. Every Monday since September, for long and boring reasons, we have eaten out in the early evening in Chiswick or Hammersmith. ‘We’ is normally myself and the two children aged 7 and 9. We made a plan to visit a different restaurant or café every week and the kids have scored them against five criteria — food/drinks/service/ambience/value. After 10 venues, Phở now tops the list with 47 points out of a possible 50. The kids are not usually generous markers(other restaurants have scored as low as 31) but they were bowled over by Phở. Apart from the quality of the food and service, they noted in particular that: the drinks list included kids options they hadn’t seen before; the lighting and design was ‘beautiful’; and the toilets were sparkling clean.

Normally I head to Kingsland rd when I want vietnamese food — Song Que and Cay Tre being my standards, so I was interested to see how Phở could match up. To cut to the chase, I had a great night. The food was very tasty and fresh, especially the squid and morning glory, and the phở came with plenty of fresh herbs — which is always a good sign, although it could do with a little more ‘oomph’ I think. Plenty of drinks choices, the juices looked great, as was the coffee. Deserts were awesome… if you try the banana fritters and the pandan pancake, you’ll definitely leave with a smile on your face. So, good marks for the food and drink. However, what clinched it for me was the atmosphere and service, which was pretty much perfect. Super friendly, helpful with suggestions and they seemed genuinely keen to ensure everyone enjoyed their evening — which is not a high priority for most of the Kingsland rd joints in my experience. Overall if you’re in Chiswick and looking for tasty and healthy food in a fun atmosphere, then you can’t go wrong.

Taste. Tradition. Décor I loved PHO. Everything about it. From the charming service to the perfectly cooked Vegetable spring rolls that reminded me of my trip to Vietnam(not those dry stuffed Chinese take-out ones…) Out of this World! The PHO itself was good(The House Special added meatballs). Not Amazing since the beef was way too cooked(it is supposed to be a little pink still when served) and the meatballs were missing a bit of taste. The Coconut Pancakes for desert were very yummy too. We had the main outside and desert inside. Both pleasant. The décor inside is Zen, Sexy, Delicate. I love it. The restrooms are clean, beautifully made(this blue tile and dark wood… YEAH) and smelling good. I went back the next day for a lunch to-go and got my now-fave-ever Springrolls and Prawn cold summer rolls with rice paper ! The best I have ever had since Vietnam too. Awesomeness. Their Nuoc Nam is home made as well as Peanuts sauce. Delish. I will be back again and again. Soon. Experience 7.5÷10 Xoxo Clem @BonjourClem

This place is terrible. Service is just as bad. We ordered to phở and the broth was like dishwater. No depth of flavour, no undertones, nothing! Just a stock cube and a star anise(for some attempt at authenticity). Also stay far away from the banh xeo. It was stale, chewy and practically inedible. Despite our complaint at the standard of the dish our waitress insisted that it was fresh… although she had never tried it before she was what it was supposed to taste. Save your money and time and go to Saigon Saigon, and if you want a quick decent phở go to Ngon.

We have enjoyed eating at Phở a few times after picking up some pieces from The Old Cinema. We unusually have the lemongrass meatballs, which are perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, mildly spiced and have a lovely, subtle lemongrass flavour. We have had nearly every salad and noodle dish as well as phở… all of our meals have been flavoursome and well presented. The fresh juices and cocktails are wonderful as well. It can be difficult to find good Vietnamese street food in London, but Phở can be counted on for a nice lunch and prompt, friendly service.

Had a great lunch at this restaurant. The service was fantastic with dishes explained ally well when asked. Also one of the party was vegetarian and they immediately alerted us to any dish that might have fish sauce in it. The food was light, fresh and zingy. Really good value, light and interesting food. I will definitely be back.

Two stars for good service, as the food was terribly disappointing, I cannot understand how this chain has grown so large judging by our meal tonight. Meatballs to start, supposedly of pork and lemongrass, that had no taste to them and a spicy phở in which the predominant flavour strangely was of cinnamon; the appearance was unappetising also with a lot of oil floating on the top. However, the manager took our food off the bill, for which he gets praise.
