Parklands High School

This is a large, popular and oversubscribed school situated on Southport rd in Chorley. Set in attractive surroundings and next to Astley Park. It was the former grammar school in Chorley.
The school has excellent Ofsted Reviews and is well resourced.
All have my children have been there and benefitted from the dedicated expertise of the staff.
The only downside i feel, is that there could be better disabled access as it is on three levels at some points and the stairs are difficult to negotiate. The disabled toilet is in the main recption area.
There has recently been some renovation work as the old ROSLA block was demolished and a new state of the art gym block has been added.
Children often go into further educational studies at a higher level
