Party food shopping, they had a great variety of foods both meat & vegetable & pastries. Also got some really nice Marques De Monistrol, Vintage Brut Cava for £6.00 a bottle, result. Must have been good spent £55.00

This supermarket is so huge it is almost like an Asda town. You can find practically everything in here; clothes, stationery, home, electronics and, of course, food. It is the most reasonably priced out of all the supermarket chains. However, the service has been pretty patchy the last few times I have visited. On one occasion, the checkout lady had a shouting conversation with another worker a few tills down. But I guess you can’t have it all and I would still pick value for money over service.

This Asda offers a huge selection of almost every food you could want at very reasonable prices. If you come back here after shopping at Sainbsury’s or Marks and Spencer you will be pleasantly surprised by how cheap everything is. You can’t get practically everything you want in here; electronics, stationary, flowers. Homewear and George clothing is available on the upper level which is accessed via a pretty swish escalator. However, this is Clydebank so some of the shoppers can be of the rough variety. The last time I visited, I cheerfully looked out my car window only to be confronted by a haggard looking woman shouting abuse at me for some reason. It is worth noting this Asda is open 24 hours. Very handy to satisfy a late night crisp craving.

I suppose all Asda’s are huge these days, and this one certainly no exception. My friend and I nipped in here to buy snacks for the cinema, and fairly got lost in the aisles — with it taking us five minutes just to walk the length of the shop, I wouldn’t recommend copying us on a tight time schedule. Or, like us, you’ll miss the beginning of the film! Well stocked though — with homeware, games and food. I didn’t see any clothes, but I may be wrong, the place was vast enough that an army of seamstresses could be hiding behind the meat counter and you’d never know.
