We refer to this place as «The Tiny Tesco» indeed it’s probably the smallest Tesco I have ever seen, it’s positively tiny, it was closed down for a while and was rearragned for the reopening, if anything it seems to be less of a «supermarket» and more of a «convienience» store now, certainly it seems to lack the range of products it used to sell, which is a pity because with Connswater, Knocknagoney and Upper Newtownards Rd a couple of minutes drive away and having much better parking, this store seems a little surplus to requirements. Also there’s usually the one memeber of staff on checkouts, even at busy times! Which leads me onto the worst part of this store, it’s really only suitable to be visited on foot, or in a weekday evening, any other time the Belmont Rd is usually bunged and on a Sunday, even the car park behind the Toby Jug is packed with churchgoers who’d drive over the top of you as soon as look at you! Definitely not Tesco’s finest hour.
