I’m renting one of Berkeley Homes’ «Waterside at the Royal Worcester» one-bedroom flats. For all their fancy promotional material — and it does look great — the flat is shoddy and the management unresponsive. There is no sign on the building indicating its name; the carpeting is of poor quality; the shower grout is already chipping; and this ground floor apartment has a very nasty smell. I fear it might have been built on a swamp. There is absolutely no landscaping to muffle the noise from the faux cobblestones. The lighting at night is poor and, I suppose in an attempt to retain(and promote) the old Victorian atmosphere, they have left alleys between the older buildings intact. This makes it quite nerve-wracking when walking home(or even from the car) to the flat in the dark. All in all, not an impressive company.
