Kings Arms

An on the main road pub, comfortable, with a nice garden and children’s play area. Food and drinks ordered: 2 x Jacket potatoes, one with chilli and one with chicken mayo, and a childs chilli, (checked first this wouldn’t be too spicy) soda water, diet coke, tea & coffee. The tea & coffee got forgotten and eventually after enquiring they arrived 50 minutes after ordering, 5 minutes before the food. I really didn’t expect lunch to take such a long time, unfortunately next time we’ll try one of the other establishments on our journey which is a shame. The food was as you would expect it to be, nice. But, the chilli was too spicy for a child! Reasonably priced. Total bill for 2 mains, 1childs & 4 drinks £18
