While at the Thame show this year we stopped at their stand, we had a good chat with the rep and were introduced to some great wines. I placed an order to the value off £320 and was told my order would be with me in about a week. At the ten day point i called the rep to find out were my order was i was informed one of the wines was out of stock. I asked why i hadn’t be contacted to let me know and was told it would have been that day but i got in there first. I said i wanted the other two wines sent to me straight away and would wait for the final wine to come back into stock(Why i had to ask for this i still wonder!). A week later i was still waiting for my order. So i sent an email and left a message on their answer phone but still heard nothing back(This was a Thursday/Friday). On the Monday i called the office to cancel my order, to be fair the second chap i spoke to was helpful but the first said he would call me back but never did. At first i was told there would be a £40 fee for cancelling but i managed to get this fee taken off but that had to come form the Boss.

Given that the website attempts to imbue the feeling that you, as their customer, would be valued and«That of courtesy and listening to our clients and offering them the type of service that has long since been forgotten» is laughable given the experience I recently had of their service. Stopping by their stall at the recent Foodie Festival, the gentleman I spoke to was abrupt, rude and arrogant. Granted, he selected a fantastic wine which myself and my sister were super impressed with, but when we were unable to purchase a case on the spot, we were suitably dumped as potential customers. Perhaps this is a good thing, as information about them is rather vague. Had I been able to go home, armed with a business card, I would have been able to set up an order. Had my sister gone home armed with a business card, she had every intention on ordering. We would have told our parents, avid wine enthusiasts. Perhaps the commission this ‘gentleman’ was unable to procure on the spot may have been greater if we had had more than a minute to think about it. Like wine, some things need time, but incomprehensibly this ‘gentleman’ was unable to understand this.
