The Litten Tree

This is walking distance to my home so was great as neither my hubby or I had to drive. Close to the City Centre if you wanted to carry on towards the cinema or Skydome etc. very spacious pub with very comfy chairs and none of the tables are too close together so the waitress could serve the food without us having to get up off of our chairs — brill. they have a good value for money deal on where you get 2 lunches for £6.95 which is even better. The food was lovely and actually hot when it reached our table which is alwasy a bonus. All in all I’d rate this pub 4 stars as it is coneniently situated and has friendly service and lots of space.

In the city centre, right at the bus stop. Rather big, always found the service to be excellent! Gave huge screen for football matches!

Very weirdly closed down without notice for about two years. Still had glasses on the tables.
Even more weirdly, reopened without anything having been done to it, like being stuck in a little time warp.
It’s a bit tatty, but cheap good food so I go there with a friend quite a lot. Two meals for a fiver off the lunchtime menu, and the food is always good. Plenty of choice. Drink also quite cheap.
Not sure what happened, but worth going for the reasonably priced food.
In the city centre, so no car parking facilities.
