When back home dropped in here for a catch up lunch! Bistro 47 has been one of the family favourites for several years now with tasty, really well priced food! What’s great is that for a small local restaurant they always put on really great daily specials!
Since my last visit … ages ago… they seem to have changed the restaurant décor and the menu! Unfortunately the one negative I have is that their new menu defintely isn’t as interesting!

Previously 47 was open, except on Mondays, for lunch and dinner. Now it no longer does lunch. Whether this is a temporary measure due to the economic down-​turn or because there isn’t enough trade on middays in Lurgan to justify opening is the question.
Stylish, modern premises. Food is excellent and beautifully prepared. Try the lamb shank on champ. The meat just drops off the bone. Unfortunately they don’t do cappucinos, but nowhere’s perfect.
