Came here for a bite to eat after visiting VUE Cinemas just next door and I really have to say that I’m definitely impressed by Tiffins and would love to come here again in the future. Atmosphere: Tiffins has a beautiful classy look to the place with a full bar and makes for a really great«date night» or special occasion location. Came here during dinner time and it was buzzing with people as well which made for a really great atmosphere. The look of the full-stocked bar also added a touch of class and character. The only downside I would say is that the actual buffet section of the restaurant felt a bit cramped. Would’ve really liked it to be a bit more spaced out because sometimes it can get a busy too busy with a massive queue of people waiting ages to get at the food. Customer Service: Perfect. The servers were very attentive with things like clearing plates and in general making sure that you are enjoying your meal. When we walked in, we were seated immediately and had our drink orders taken. I’ve experienced quite a few buffets in South Wales with highly un-attentive staff so I’m very glad that Tiffins is the exact opposite of that! Food: Delicious! A lot better than I expected for«buffet food». They had loads of different curries as well as desserts! My recommendations: ~ Sounds silly, but I loved their chips! Thick and soft on the inside. Yum! ~ The cream puffs from the dessert section were heaven. ~ The Vegetable Samosas were soft, chewy, and delicious. I would also pretty much recommend all of their curries. They are all made well so it really just depends on personal taste from there. One thing I quite like about Tiffins is that everything is clearly labeled with the spice level as well so if you’re someone who can’t really handle spicy foods, it doesn’t need to feel like you’re in a minefield or anything like that. Room For Improvement: ~ The logistics of this would be difficult, but as I mentioned I really don’t like how cramped the buffet section is. On busy nights it can get a bit hectic. No reason for it to be this way seeing as how there’s plenty of space in the restaurant. ~ Most of their curries are mainly chicken curries. Essentially, very few variation in the meats. There was only like 1 lamb curry and 1 beef curry that I could see. A bit unfortunate because I’m a huge fan of beef! Like I said though, the chicken curries were all very good I just wish that there could’ve been a tad bit more variation in protein. Overall, I’d be very happy to go back to Tiffins. I had a great time and for all you can eat, the food was surprisingly great quality.

Having heard a lot about Tiffins and a huge curry fan, a recent opportunity to join a few work colleagues for a lunchtime bite to eat seemed to tempting to miss. I’m not sure if it was the day /time that we visited but the venue lacked any real atmosphere and felt very sparse, and felt more like modern pub /bar than an indian restaurant. They had four main meat dishes /two vegetarian(saag aloo /curried mushrooms) on the day I visited all of which looked very bland in appearance, large chunks of meat with a gravy sauce ranging from beige /red /brown depending on the type you chose(Korma /Massala /Balti /Hot Curry). The taste of these currys reflected the appearance, bland, lacking any real flavour. I had the Lamb balti and although the Lamb was tender the sauce didn’t reflect that of a traditional balti. The Saag aloo was quite thin in its consistency and needed a fair bit of naan to mop it all up. For a buffet lunch, obviously you could have eaten as much as you wanted and tried every dish all for a price of £7.95 you can’t really complain, so this is its saving it from a two star rating. Reasonable food for a reasonable price. Would I go back? Its the kind of place if I’d had a few beers and was in need of filling up on food I’d head back there, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to get there.

This restaurant is excellent! Myself, friends and family frequently eat at this restaurant. The food is beautiful, continuously refilled and is always piping hot and full of flavour. There is plenty of choice, ranging from mild and tasty up to hot and bursting with flavour! Great selection of naan bread, as well as plenty of ‘sides’ such as chips, onion bhajee’s etc. The staff are always extremely polite and cheerful. We have been there for a number of birthday parties and they have decorated the table with balloons and banners(ask when you book). Reasonably priced all you can eat– well worth the money.

This is one of my most favourite places to go for a bite to eat nowadays. Not only are the staff here very warm, friendly and welcoming but the food is amazing value for money too. This place is open 7 days a week offers an «all you can eat» Indian buffet meal. The prices vary depending on whether you visit mid-week or on the weekend and also on the time of day. For example, the most you will pay Monday to Thursday is £9.95 for your meal and the most you will pay Friday to Sunday is £11.95. However, if you’re out for a spot of lunch or an afternoon feast those prices drop to £6.95 and £8.95 if you get in there, eat and leave before 5:30pm. There does appear to be more selection available in the evenings but don’t let that fool you into thinking there is not much of a selection during the day. I haven’t met anyone yet who came here to eat and did not leave feeling like they had eaten their fill for a week. They have a wide selection of drinks available too(these are not included in the meal price but there is a price list on every table) The interior design of the restaurant is also very modern and comfortable. There’s plenty of space and they cater for adults and children so this is a brilliant place to bring the family for a meal. I’ve been here numerous occasions and every time the food has been great quality, I wouldn’t call this fine dining but at these prices with such a great standard of service I don’t see how anyone could complain. Last time I visited a beautiful young lady offered me a sweetie for later on when I paid my bill but I couldn’t even think about eating for the rest of the day. Top stuff, we need more of these please!
