As my local circuit, Croft is dear to my heart, but things could be improved at this venue. First off, a café or restaurant would be a big plus. When you go to places like Oulton Park etc, there is a restaurant to sit down and have a nice meal and shelter from the rain and warm up. There is no shelter at all at Croft, and being up north, it gets cold and wet at times. Knockhill has a couple of stands where you can shelter, and the are free. Also proper toilets instead of portaloos would be nice. There is only one toilet block which is at the enterance. The rest of the track has portaloos which at a big event like the BTCC, get in a mess. Finally, camping onsite would be a big plus and also pull in more travelling fans. Presently, you dont know if you are going to be camping in a farmers field up the road or on a football pitch behind a local club about a mile away(which you get stuck in traffic trying to get to the track). When we did the football pitch last year, every tent was about a foot from the next one and all confined to a small area of the field. More space needed. Considering this track is in the middle of the countryside, there must be somewhere around within the track confines to camp, such as the big open space, in the dip, between sunny out and Complex, behind the garages. For a good track like this I hope things improve. One the plus side, there are loads of places to get a good view of the event.
