Farm shop with café, kids play area, animals for kids and tractor rides.
Amongst other products we buy practically all of our meat from here because the quality is very good and is all home produced beef from rare breed belted galloway & dexter cattle. The meat is hung for 3 weeks and instead of being sold fresh, it is all frozen instead of many other farms who sell fresh and what does not sell then is frozen. You can buy here with total piece of mind knowing that you have full traceability on the products.
They also sell their own potatoes what we buy per sack.
They have won a number of food awards, prices are quite reasonable and staff are efficient and friendly.
The farm itself is medieval and time team from TV have completed a programme what is due to be on TV Jan 2009.
This is a fantastic place to shop so please go and try it. I have no problem recommended this to anyone.
