Quite a traditional looking pub that is generally quite lively. It can get very busy on Friday and Saturday nights, sometimes a little too busy and crowded for my liking.
Entertainment is often provided in the form of live music which is great. The interior could do with a little bit of a makeover, it’s a bit tired looking. There is a beer garden here for Summer drinks but that could do with a bit of an overhaul too. Having said that, staff are friendly enough and the bar prices are reasonable so not a bad pub all in all, but definitely not the best in Dartford.

I have been to this pub a few times. It has a great atmosphere and the people are usually nice and pleasant to talk to. They are not bad prices for there drinks and they are cold enough for me. You can also buy a few snacks. The pub can get very busy and noisy which i do not like so much. I have never seen a band yet, i hope i do someday. They offer a good choice of drinks and the bar staff are nice and chatty. If your looking for a nice place to have a drink and a chat then i would recommend The Old Courthouse.

This is one of my fav pubs in Dartford, good atmosphere, friendly staff and if your lucky a good band playing. Only down side is that it some times gets too busy to move and very loud (that’s with out a band!) Beer garden could do with a makeover.
