Me and my boyfriend have been going to the godfather restaurant for the last 2 and a half years and every time we have been it has been absolutely fantastic the food is amazing and we have never been disappointed! It’s great value for money and by far the best Italian restaurant in blackburn and darwen, excellent xx

Despite very friendly staff on the phone I have to say the food is not great, at least not for me. I’ve had kebabs from there several times and have finally learnt my lesson. The portions are good sized and sometimes the kebab does taste nice but make sure there is a toilet VERY close by.

I wish I could put no stars! I think this is the worst takeaway in Lancashire, iv ordered from here about 4 times, but every time my food has been cold. Also they have turned up with the wrong order, and it takes far too long for the food to arrive. I would not recommend this takeaway to anyone.

I have ordered from this take-​away about seven times now, I would say 3 of those times I have really enjoyed it.
I would recommend the pizzas but not the kebabs, I find the donner meat very chewy and tough, but the pizzas are lovely.
Not always a good idea to order on Just-​eat, as it does take them a while to take the order, especially when you don’t want your internet to lose connection.
Quite a few times I have shoved the food in the microwave as it does turn up lukewarm.
If they could sort the donner meat and maybe buy a heated bag, then I may return with an extra star or two.

visited approx ten days ago, garlic bread with tomato worst i have ever tasted… piece of bread with no flavour and a few squashed tomatos on top, pasta dish was garbage again very bland if not tasteless was listed as arriabatta but came with pasta… and sauce was a black colour not a rich red arriabatta colour, wrong drinks served but no offer to replace, pointed out to person serving that pasta was very poor … could not handle feedback… just took the money no mention about not paying for the meal, i should have refused to pay it was that poor, pizza ok but nothing to rave about, guess what. would not eat here for free!

If I could give this 6* I would. The best pizza place in Lancashire. The pizza are great and they are quick and the food is always hot. We moved from Darwen and still go from Bolton to Darwen to visit here. mmmmm
