Harrisons Amusments

Such a large and ugly amusement arcade. Totally ruins the pretty town of Dawlish.

A big arcade with something for all the family. The bingo has been moved to the other end and in it’s place are various machines to win tickets for prizes. There are lots of fruit machines ranging in price from 2p-£1. When you are playing bingo they offer drinks and snacks which is nice. They have special events throughout the year which are fun!

Harrisons is a large amusement arcade, part of the building has the bingo, which is definately worth a laugh and you get free sandwiches, biscuits, tea and coffee. The remainder of the arcade, has an over 18 area, and the remainder of the area has machines of all sorts from the 2p rolls, to the slots. Most weekends they have face painters or ballon makers in. The only downside its on a busy road and the arcade is open plan, so you need to keep an eye out on children incase they run off.

For a smallish town this is a rather large amusements.
There is a Bingo Hall in one section, with the regular racing, shoot em up and penny machines in the other.
Its often quite busy in the summer, although Dawlish Warren offers good parking, so its easy to get to and is near the beach, is in town and there are various places to eat near by.
There are quite a few rides outside, although as someone else mentioned beware of the road and kids.
Im not sure of the opening times, but it opens quite late in the summer.
Overall its quite good, with a fair choice of games to play.

Great amusments, the only bad thing is that it is right by the road so be careful with children, right by the beach and eating facilities so great quite big too.
