Was rather disgusted with a lady who works in this shop. I was with my future daughter in law who is also the mother to twin 5 month old sons. She asked if the babies were my daughter in laws which she answered yes. We were gob smacked when she said she looked far to young to be a mother implying that she was a gym slip mother giving her a disgusted look too. The Well she then went on to say it’s a good job I am around to help her. How very dare anyone assume someone is to young to have 1 baby let alone two. Then to add that she obviously thought she needed help. My daughter in law is not a teenager & she is an excellent mother too & copes very well everyday without help whilst her partner is at work. Yes it’s good of that she looks young but her words really hurt the mother of my grandsons. Usually I would of spoken up but I did not want to cause a scene. This woman should think in future before she opens her mouth. Yes some girls have babies very young but they should not be judged on this. I know some very young mothers who have made fantastic parents. I add we won’t be going in the shop again.

This is a lovely little Barnardo’s store in the new West Chellaston Estate. It is big and spacious with lots of arm room as you wander round. This is something you don’t often get in Charity shops. They have lots of great Bargains to browse. There is a good Kids section with lots of clothing toys and books. Also Household items kitchen ware, Bathroom ware and lots of items to brighten up your home. I also noticed there is a great under £5 section with so many great Bargains and gifts for all the family. It goes without saying there is also a great clothing section with lots of choice for Men and Women. I went especially to get some jeans for my son and came out successful. If you are a fan of Charity shops or Bargain hunting I would definitely recommend a visit. The staff are very welcoming Helpful and cheery too.
