On of the best food stop franchise in UK, as you can find it easily in most corners. It has a good variety of products and tastes from every culture. Some products and ingridients do not justify the price offering. Pretty good people citing there, as it has a nice coffee break environent.

Everyone love Greggs and that is obvious by the fact that no matter what time of day it is there is always a long queue. This Greggs is no exception. It is only a tiny little stand down by the Morledge(I would have said down by the bus station) They sell all the familiar items of Sausage rolls, pizza slices, baguettes and sandwiches. They also have cakes and donuts and to drink they have bottles of water, coke and juices. They are always busy but the staff don’t mess about and you never have to wait very long to be served so don’t worry about queueing too long. They do specials too at different times of the year ie, ginger bread men for Christmas, or little bunny biscuits for Easter or hot cross buns. They are right opposite Burger King but that doesn’t seem to affect the business. This is your real fast food in operation.

Overall: A good place for cheap eats, if you’re not worried about what’s inside your pie As a very young student with very little money, this was place was one of my favourite haunts. As years gone by, I would now never touch anything that came out of Gregg’s. The quality of their meat pies/slices have rapidly declined since the changing of their name from Bragg’s to Gregg’s — or as the long term gag is «Dregg’s». The meat in the meat pies/slices are unrecognizable/non-existent and reminds me of pies made by Mrs Lovett… that is, you don’t know what meat is in there!
