We’d heard good things about this restaurant which is why we booked our Xmas meal there. In hindsight that was a mistake as they really can’t cope with a table of 16. Not that the place was busy, there was only us and one other table of 2(and about 20 other empty places) The waiters didn’t know what half the stuff on the menu was, and when we asked they went off, came back and then failed to answer. When one of our party ordered one of the dishes from the Mauryan House Specials he was told they didn’t do any of the meals in that section! Lots of unordered drinks and meals were bought out, and others were just wrong. A couple of us had finished our main course before others had even been served theirs. Overall, the food was ok, but hardly great, and not living up to the expectation the prices set. You might get better service if you’re there on a quiet night if there’s just 2 or 4 of you, but for any more I would certainly avoid in future.
