Recently refurbished. Reliably good pub food. The garden/decking area is great in the summer (although it is fairly near a main road so you do get a bit of traffic noise) and lovely and cosy in the winter.

This is a great place to visit for a god quality feed! It has a really good mix of the good old traditional English pub meals with a mix of contemporary dishes to choose from, all of which have always been presented really well on my experiences. Reasonable– mid price range you can not really go wrong here. There is a good decked garden area to enjoy the summer months and this place is one of my favourites in the winter as they get the log fires burning! A good place to visit on a week night for a nice meal out to have time out from the working week!
