If I could rate 3.5 stars I would. In Didsbury(especially near the high street) there is the expectation of a certain level. It’s not snobbish(or doesn’t have to be), it’s just that the shops here are generally well put together. Crema isn’t shabby, but it could be better. The coffee is fine(nothing spectacular) and the food is fine as well(again, nothing spectacular). It’s on the small side inside and the chairs aren’t the most comfy. Has more of a diner feel, but I get the impression that it wasn’t as intentional as just thrown together. Nothing memorable for me. As much as I’m all about supporting local coffee shops, it’s no wonder there were more people at Costa just a few steps away. Might be better off heading to The Art of Tea(basically next door).
