Ok, so the chances of many Unilocalers being up here is kinda slim, so I feel it to be my MORALDUTY to tell you all about how good the Dingwall Tandoori is should you find yourself in the Cromarty Firth area. The range of dishes is decent, it’s reasonably priced and the flavours are excellent. Staff are very friendly and attentive without being creepy. It’s got that old-skool Indian restaurant feel to it in terms of décor etc, which I kinda like in a pseudo-retro way. If you don’t like that kind of décor, get over yourself and tuck in to some cracking scran.

This is a great restaurant and takeaway but unfortunately the prices have been increased markedly recently pricing most local people out of their market and at a time when people cannot afford luxuries such as this. Having said that no other Indian food as good as this within a huge radius, and that includes inverness

Reasonable curry shop, certainly better than the other one in Dingwall.

Having had a shockingly disappointing experience at the other indian restaurant in Dingwall, to the extent we actually had to leave(see other review) my wife went into the Dingwall Tandoori Restaurant with no booking(despite the restaurant being fairly busy) and were made very welcome with no problems whatsoever. The food was absolutely excellent and the staff were all polite, very helpful and extremely keen to make sure you had a good experience — so in other words the staff were really good. Slightly dated décor now, but still a nice and airy restaurant situated in the heart of Dinwall with easy parking right outside the front door(and alternative parking very close by). It is cheap in comparison to other indian restaurants and so if you are looking for some good quality indian cuisine I can definitely recommend the Dingwall Tandoori Restaurant.
