Myself and my partner popped into Ours a few months ago for lunch. First impressions weren’t fantastic, the layout of the restaurant gave a really cold and ‘show room’ feel with large spaces between you and other customers. However the service was very friendly and I enjoyed some great banter with both the front of house waitress and the barman.
My partner ordered a Lasagne, which he was generally pleased with but would have liked the portion to be bigger, and I ordered the mixed grill. To which I was very surprised at the value for money as my plate was almost bigger in width than the table and I felt like i was partaking on a ‘Man Vs Food’ type challenge. Infact we took a photo and captioned it ‘scouse Vs food!‘
Overall i felt we got good value for money, and would come back again. But the atmosphere regarding the décor leaves little to be desired (excluding the windows, they’re a nice touch)

Went here on a Friday night and it always seems to be pretty dead (in a bad way). It’s a chilled out bar, which is refreshing in Donny, but i’m not feeling the idea of a bar and restaurant. In my view you’re one or the other. The seating sucks as well. Would be nice if some of the tables were a bit higher and more comfortable so you can have a convo. Also from what I can remember the drinks are pretty pricey.

I called in this bar on Saturday to get out of the snow whilst waiting for a friend. The atmosphere was lovely, nice and chilled.
The music was good and well up to date, playing new songs that i’ve not heard anywhere else in Doncaster. I didnt eat but saw some of the meals being served. the mixed grill looked to die for :) Will definately be going back with the girls on my next night out.

went on a monday afternoon with a good friend. we were met politely on entering & could sit at a table of our choice. the menu was good & we both chose hot sandwiches with salad, the quality was impressive,(the beef in mine was succulent.)
we then enjoyed liquer coffees.
the staff were friendly & professional, & the ambience stylish.
i will certainly return.
