Walkers nurseries is much more than just a garden centre — they’ve also got a lovely café and a huge landscaped field, for want fo a better word, that you can go for walks around. There are Angus cows, ducks and peacocks wandering around the garden centre(well, not the cows, they’re fenced off) which is nice for the kids. The selection of plants is vast, but they are quite expensive. Often some good clearance offers though — I got a load of bedding plants for a couple of quid that would have been nearer a tenner. It’s a nice place to go for a wander around and a cuppa or some lunch, and easy to get to, close to the airport.
