The Fridge

This is a small deli, which sells all things local and artisan. I was drawn in by their wonderfully organised display of seasonal tomatoes– these are from the Isle of White.
They sell gluten free bread and lots of fresh deli items, their cheese selection is huge. They also do pies (and multibuy offers on these), and even have vegetarian options. The shelves are stocked with pickles, jams, chutneys and speciality ingredients, if I had been here for longer I would definitely be back to make lunches or dinner platters.
The staff were lovely, and quite amused at my love of the tomatoes (vine on, delicious– the label said they are «the sweetest variety of all» and my, my, they are good). Apparently the deli has been there for over 20 years… long may it stay!
