Don’t you just love those moments when you’ve forgotten something, you later remember it, and it excites you greatly(and quite possibly incomprehensibly)? Well, that happened me upon entering Graham’s yesterday. No, it wasn’t the euphoria of entering a newsagents-cum-ice-cream-parlour(which is perfectly plausible), nor was it the wide selection of magazines that Graham’s offered. Nope, it was all down to a tiny little piece of paper. Upon picking up my nameless weekly magazine, I had suddenly remembered that I had cut out a coupon from last week’s copy, allowing me to purchase it for 85p instead of £1.50. Hoking though my bag, and then digging through the receipts, bus tickets and cards in my purse, I realised that I had indeed brought the coupon with me. I was extremely grateful they accepted it, because not a lot of the independent stores do, but there wasn’t any problems at all. Magazine = bargainously purchased. Yipppeeee. My brother tells me that Graham’s is owned and run by a local family from around the Rathfriland area, and they make their own ice-cream which is pretty cool(well, hopefully really cold, but you know what I mean). I didn’t get a chance to taste their ice-cream(my stomach still hadn’t gotten over lunch), but I would definitely love to go back another time and try it out. Graham’s will forever be engraved in my mind as the place where I got my magazine for almost half-price, and will therefore be close to my heart. Always and forever…
