If you live in or near Great Dunmow and need medical advice when the doctors is closed or busy, I would thoroughly recommend a visit to Ropers.
Located on the High Street, this is a fantastic chemists and pharmacy. The staff offer amazingly good advice on a range of minor ailments and will recommend appropriate treatments and advise on what to purchase. If they believe your ailment to be more serious, they will always advise an interim treatment and a visit to the doctors/​hospital.
I have used them on many occasions and they have saved me quite a few trips to the GP surgery!
