I have to say my experience is quite different. I have to say I love energie Fitness East Grinstead. I was really dreading starting at the gym, but as I sit down all day at my job and I was feeling stiff, slow and generally middle aged, I knew I would have to do something about it. That did not mean however, that I was looking forward to the experience!.. Fast forward to a month later. OMG! to use teenage talk!! Once I had experienced the kindness, patience and friendly atmosphere of the energie gym, with nice owner James Daniels and his caring staff, I cannot stay away from the place, whether it is to attend a whole range of all inclusive classes with patient, kind instructors and a variety of body shapes, ages and sizes to challenge them (!), or to wallow in the lovely clean, warm pool at the temperature of a baby’s bath, or improve my fitness on the equipment. I
I would like to give an analogy. When I was a kid in the seventies, we had no money, so we went to the park every day, and I would go on the swings, then the roundabout, talk to my friend Beverley, and then maybe the swings again, and then go home again. Next day, back againFor me now, the gym is a park for an older me, a bit of a class, a go on this, that, the pool, a bit of a chat and then I go home, till tomorrow. I am amazed at the value I pay £34 pounds a month, and that includes the gym, the pool and all exercise classes, plus a free personalised 6 week program with a personal trainer. How good is that?

It is close to my home that’s the good thing. However I am interested mainly in swimming the pool is vey small and today there was some aqua class the pool was taken by 10 people. I had to go to sauna and wait 45 mins until actually I got in to the pool. When there are baby swimming classes they do not take whole pool. I had a chance to get out of the house today and there was the class. I am paying about £42 monthly just for swimming and sauna and when I want to swim there was the class. Then for swimming 2 times per week I am paying about £42. I would be looking to join different gym

Nice small club, friendly and knowledgeable staff, decent parking for town centre and prices are very reasonable.
Useless admin system — they kept messing up in collecting money from bank. Was originally backed by James Caan — not the actor — the Dragon. He pulled out and it is now part of a franchise operation
who then started sending stupid letters
Unfortunately there is nowhere else in east Grinstead which is becoming a bit of a ghost town.
Still, well worth joining — pay up front so you don’t have the hassle that’s what I do.
