Treasure Island Adventure Park

We went to play mini golf on a Saturday afternoon. It was a fantastic pirate themed course and as I havent been mini golfing in ages, such a laugh. There are 18 holes and a great water feature, caves, and pirate ship decoration throughout the course. For £5 it was a bargain because it took over an hour to complete with our group. Glad we arrived early as it did get quite busy behind us. There were a few holes that were a bit run down, one in particular had no fake grass but others were brand new. I am thinking that they may be in the process of redoing them for summer. It didnt effect my terrible golf game one way or the other though.
There was a café outside with ice cream and drinks, so I had a post golf Magnum and diet pepsi. There is an inside play area which would be great if you had kids for parties. Had a great day out and as it was cheap, will definitely be back.

After seeing this was re-​oponed decieded to give it a try. Really don’t like the the other alternative.
The reception area was bright and clean, prices are clearly displayed. Although there is only once credit card device so you would have to wait. Staff are good are dealing with this by taking cash on one side and cards on the other. Prices are reasonable although I made the mistake of getting a combo on a cold wet day and didn’t use the outside area. BUT on a lovely day the prices are very good. Not happy at having to pay a £1 but where do the owners draw the line especially as some of the famillies had one child and aunts, uncles, grandparents tagging along.
The play room do have a bit of a niggle. It would be good if you had some area for sitting only. There was some tables with one parent on them, not eating or drinkinga bit of a waste. I was there with my three kids and wanted to eat but we had to wait around 30 minutes on a table becoming free. It was very busy and the tables were not being cleared BUT after asking the staff, it was cleared, cleaned and even hoovered around the table.
The food was hot and tasty and reasonably price, there was a small confusion about my order but again the staff were fab at dealing with it. not even sure why I am mentioning it.
My kids tell me the play area was great fun, I didn’t see them for over an hour so it must have been :)
Toliets, were clean and had plenty of supplies in them.
We did pop outside but it was too cold but on a hot day this would be fab.
You could easily come here with a picnic and spend the day.
All the staff are friendly and give a good service. There was one lady inparticular who wore a red top was fab with the kids.
I really hope the owners keep this up and keep it clean, nothing worse than a grubby soft play. I would really recommend to put your old views of Treasure Island aside and give this new vamped Treasure Island ago.

The new owners are clearly going to make this a fantastic venue for all the family. Good Luck to them.

RE OPENING SPRING 2012 with a full refurb Great News for Everyone

Spent the day looking after the nice and she saw this place on they way though so after badgering me to take her i agreed, we arrived we plenty of good parking went in ad started to look around the place seem very run down so i don’t know if we caught it at the end of there session there was very few things that even remotely interested her and allot of those where not available all in what did was expensive and left a very unsatisfied feeling, so let with in an hour ti find something else, not recommended at the end of they but to give them they fair chance they are packet during summer so it must have something going.
