There is no shortage of Chinese restaurants in London but in North London, having lived in China for a while, I had been struggling to find one local to me that met my high standards until I came to East One, and i’ve been coming here ever since. It may out in boonies at the end of the Northern Line but if you make the journey then you’re in for a treat! Atypical with a lot of Chinese restaurants, East One is beautifully decorated and there is a huge impressive dragon sculpture covering the ceiling of the main section of the restaurant. The restaurant is catered in a buffet style cuisine offering a great selection of dishes with influences from Thailand, China, Japan & Malaysia. There is a Lunchtime buffet for only £6.90pp Mon — Sat with a Sunday lunch buffet for £9.50pp. Their dinner buffet, available throughout the week, is £14.90pp and whilst that may seem higher than most places, will be revealed a steal once you taste the quality of the food. During the dinner buffet there is even a chef making a variety of sweet crepes for a nice way to end a great meal. Whatever your fancy, outside of Chinatown this is the best Chinese buffet in London!
