Bramble

This place is great for soup, sandwiches, toasties, etc to go, however the breakfast rolls are what I usually go here for.
My favourite is the bacon and haggis roll, which offers a generous portion for a very reasonable price.
Everything here is cooked to order so it’s nice and fresh. No bacon cooked at 8am that’s been sitting stewing under a heat lamp for hours!
Hot and cold drinks are available too and there are usually a few meal deals on offer to make this place ever more budget friendly!

Some days you’re looking for style and sophistication; other days it’s just a quick and hearty, light-​on-​the-​pocket lunch that’s required. Bramble is a great place to go, when your needs fit neatly into the latter category.
The counter chap does really excellent work, freshly preparing simple sandwiches and daily specials, to order. Their soup was very good, and their toastie, although very simple, was rather good, too. For £3, with a cuppa thrown in for good measure, this is a rather tempting lunchtime offer.
Overall, we said: «I was really impressed with Bramble. There’s a lot to be said for getting the simple stuff right, and Bramble is certainly doing that. The counter man’s approach was a joy to behold, and I enjoyed both of my dishes. I’d happily point you in their direction, next time you’re looking for a tasty and high value lunch.»
