Easter Craiglockhart Hill Local Nature Reserve

Craiglockhart Hill is a lovely place for a walk. I lived in the neigbourhood for a while and I have jogged, strolled, walked across, enjoyed the views from the top many a time.
Go an enjoy the views from the Craighouse campus before it (sadly) becomes yet another property development, or if it snowy, go and join the snowboarders and sledgers on the big slope in front of the campus.
If you venture up the hill and up the top of the golf course, you can enjoy wonderful views on the Pentlands, even better when there’s snow! You can walk across the wood to Craiglockhart campus, the sports centre and the pond where migrating birds and ducks sometimes stay.
