I have been meaning to leave this review for a while(got my hair cut in June) so here goes… I had previously had my hair cut and coloured in Level Up once before and liked it so decided to book in again. I booked in for a last minute cut and was unimpressed from start to finish. First of all, I was instantly put off when the woman about to cut my hair seemed less than confident when I asked for an asymmetrical Bob. There was no consultation involved whatsoever. The cut took 1 hour and 40 minutes and I left the salon in tears. I was essentially blamed for the length of time it took because when asked if I wanted it ‘a bit shorter on one side’ I said yes. I am happy for staff to have a casual manner but this place was far too casual and I felt ignored as they conversed with one another. The whole terrible experience was topped off without an apology(I’m sure it was obvious I was unhappy) and with a higher price tag than I expected AND I was asked to go to a cash machine to get money out as someone was on the phone so the card machine couldn’t be used. The hairdresser also used hot straightening irons to hold my hair in place and cut a straight line and I’m pretty sure that is not standard practise or healthy for hair at all. I should have gone with my gut and walked out the door as soon as walked in. Thankfully I have had a haircut since this one and my hair is sitting pretty again.

I used the above deal recently, I found Daryl very friendly but the salon lacked profesionalism with customer care at times I felt a bit like a dummy sitting while those around me chatted about what to have for dinner. I was sat at the door which was also very drafty. My hair cut was ok but poorly styled for leaving the salon as GHD curls fell and frizzed immediately. However my colours were very nice and Nora did a thorough job which has been admired.
