Levels Café is a brand new café and nice space for meeting or studying. It’s near Moray House and parts of Edinburgh Uni so it’s well frequented by staff and students like me. I loved the beautiful space which is nice and airy and tastefully decorated. There are various different seating options — at the window looking out on high stools, at colourful tables by the windows on the other side, at couches, or a desk-type seating. I had a normal cappuccino which was fine. They also sell food and even beer and wine. It’s pretty large so can accommodate a lot of people too! The prices are a tad high and there are no student discounts unless students pay with a U-pay-Chili card they have money loaded onto(20% off if so). It’s a shame students can’t get discounts if paying by cash, and be aware that for paying by card it’s a £5 minimum and there aren’t many cashpoints nearby. All in all, this is a posh new uni café which has a nice ambiance and corresponding non-studenty feel and prices.
