Tesco Express

Handy shop to pick up a couple of items on your way home but not where you would want to do a full weeks worth of shopping. They carry the basic range of items and for me as a vegetarian it isn’t a large selection of fresh «dinner» ideas.
Clean and well lit, this is a new shop so is immaculate. Nice staff and positive experience here. I miss the car showroom that used to be here in its place as I always played picks with the very expensive cars!
There is another Tesco express a mile up the road at Haymarket and a Tesco extra 2 miles the other way in Corstorphine. It is a bit of a mass take over and although it has its place, I hope that it doesn’t elbow other local businesses out of the way.
