My fish from Welch was fresh and tasty, which is certainly always to be expected from a fishmonger.
I knocked off a few points not because there is anything necessarily bad about this place, but I was a bit disappointed in the selection — or more specifically lack thereof. It was just the basics and nothing on the slightly more interesting side of things. I’ve also gotten used to fishmoners selling things like eggs, lemons and breadcrumbs (basically all you need to prepare the fish) but this one just had plastic lemons as decoration and therefore needed an additional trip to complete the shopping list.
