Went there for a team lunch from work. Tried there seafood specialities. A really good place to relax and enjoy good food. Try their deep fried sprats n prawn spaghetti. You will like it !!

I don’t visit this restaurant very often as my SO is not a seafood fan. However when I get the opportunity I tend to go with my brother. We split the lobster platter. Its massively elegant with a whole lobster and mussels and clams in white wine sauce with all sorts of yummy creatures. Even oysters. I would recommend this dish to anyone who wants to share as it seems pretty pricey at around £50 but if you split that between two its reasonably priced. Other than that I tend to get the mussels and they’re a decent portion. Would love to visit here more often if I could finally persuade my SO to like fish.

Very dissappointed. Wrong starter, tiny portions and lemon sole only cooked on one side. Cheese and biscuits was three slithers of tasteless unregonisable rubbish with crackers made from sawdust. £100 for three people.

Our favourite restaurant of this chain and first choice for fish. Free parking and they serve food all day, so no need to reserve a table. I find it more spacious than other restaurants and service is friendly. It is not cheap but we had always fresh & tasty meals plus good selection of white wine.

Seriously overpriced and not particularly fresh seafood. Representative of a typical chain restaurant which trades on its name.

In a culinary desert like Egham, where pub food is probably the best option available, Loch Fyne is worth its weight in lobster. The restaurant, although part of a chain, gives no indication that it is anything other than individual. The fish and seafood is fresh, much of it coming from Scotland, the rest of the produce is locally sourced and seasonal wherever possible and there are non-fish course options for those in the group who don’t like indulging in Neptune’s spoils. The wine list is solid, the atmosphere is sunny, even on the gloomiest winter’s day, and being nearby as I write this, I’m almost tempted to pop along there for dinner. Everything about this Loch Fyne restaurant says that it’s run under excellent management, from the courteous staff to the spotless conveniences. Highly recommended for decent dining in the Egham area.

This has become a special occasion staple venue in our house as the food is wonderful, but the prices are higher than I’d want to pay for a more run-of-the-mill meal. The restaurant is light and airy inside with wooden floors and rustic tables. Some of these are a bit too close together — it isn’t a problem while seated but can be difficult to move through the restaurant. There is a seating outside for the warmer weather. The menu offers high-quality seafood, with a couple of carnivorous alternatives for those who don’t like fish or seafood. However, I find it annoying that for main courses you have to order your fish and then pay for potatoes/chips on top of this as well as paying more for vegetables. This makes the meal turn out more expensive than ordering in the more usual way. I’ve never had a bad meal here and have taken advantage of the special offers(found on the Loch Fyne) website to bring the cost down.

Not a cheap restaurant but great quality seafood in nice surroundings. The staff are very friendly and well informed and will adapt anything on the menu to suit. The restaurant is spotless and light and airy. Wonderful menu with something to suit everyone. Part of a chain of restaurants but still with it’s own individuality.
