The Evesham Hotel

Marmite is absolutely right and I like Marmite too.
Give the place 2 minutes and if it doesn’t grab you it is probably best to go somewhere else.
No mobile phones in public areas, good food, excellent service, no piped music, no tipping, extensive (and I mean extensive) wine list but no French or German wines. The daftest toilets you have ever seen.
Don’t take my word for it, go and see for yourself.

As hotels go, this is as ‘Marmite’ as they come. You either love it or hate it. I like Marmite, and I love this place. (If you look on Trip Advisor, you’ll see a few of the Marmite haters…)
I’ve stayed here quite a few times over the years, mainly on business, but also out of choice. A 40 bedroom hotel, it has in my mind three extremely memorable features, not including the various themed rooms.
The Loos (Award Winning); The Gin (Expensive, but the best); The owner (John Jenkinson).
The website describes the place very well, and gives you a taste of the eccentric flavour of what’s to come.
All I’ll say is don’t try and out do the boss on the ‘outrageous tie’ front. You stand NO chance…
